Hello Friends,

I had a website http://www.shortnscarystories.com having haunted, thrilling and scary stories. Many of the users registered over here and shared their experiences for free.

With these theme, i use a keyword 'scary stories' that also belongs my domain..which ranks good in beginning but now its on tenth page..now i had a goal to take this keyword at first page at any cost. Please help me and tell me what should i do for this according to latest trends and panda updates. Remember only non paid techniques but quality must be good atleast.

Please share something..

Keep adding content and use the keyword string 'scary stories' in that content from time to time. Also focus on creating backlinks and other ways to generate traffic.

I imagine there is a lot of competition for 'scary stories' though, so it may take a lot of time and effort to get to page one.

same here.... I had my main keywords listed on google on first page over 4 years, but 2months ago google dropped them to 10th pages, I didn't know if someone like me or just me? But I didn't make huge changes but only created some original content and refleshed them 1 month and added some links gradually , now they remained to first pages, just my real experiences, for your reference.

The answer is very simple, STOP checking "rankings", you will only see the results for YOU which are biased because you search for the same phrases over and over and over again.

According to me,Original content will helpfull in seo point of view as to bring more traffic and visitors and to make presence of your website to the search engines like google. Google will credit your website more if you have a good content.

The question that I would like to ask you is how did you get in first page in the first place? I bet you already know what search engine optimization is all about. You mention the Panda update, that particular was released to to lower the rank of "low-quality sites" or "thin sites". Well, what you would have to do is to focus much more on quality as some seo guru often recommends.

Any type content works... it just depends on who links to it, shares it, or markets it and it completely depends on who the content is meant to attract and convert. Nothing says it has to be "unique".

Various factors have to be taken into consideration to bring back the top keyword position in case it is dropped. You will have to check everything, right from the on page optimization to the backlinks created. Also make sure that the internal linking structure is appropriate so that the link juice is properly passed on to all the web pages. There is no point in keyword stuffing as well, avoid using the same keyword repeatedly and work on keyword variations.

same situation happend here to me.... but now I have my keywords ranking from 10th page to 1st page. some enter to 3th

when google dropped them, I only recreated some original content and make more internal links from my websites, make some links outside gradually, but in this period, the ranking ups and downs all the time. but after a while, when I slow down altering the title, descriptions, etc, the ranking came back. so in this experiences, I think, STABLE is the best way that google will consider for your site.

I am a Freelancer from last 1 year, but first time came to this forum. Actually I need some good tips for my business, so I came up here to get and share as much as possible. Definitely it will be a good time here.

Firstly I would like to discuss few problems that I have faced in link building. People says that social bookmarking is a good option to get good ranking at the begin inning of SEO. According to my personal experience, I have used bookmarking regularly for the websites, and their ranking were also increase because of it. But after the Panda updates, I am just confused about the social bookmarking. As we will do regular bookmarks, and most of the sites allow one time submission. So, very few sites were remain to use. Does it comes under any type of spamming?? As I am very cautious about my site so need to know urgently before any negative effect by Google..
