My website, as i saw some, 24 hours back was ranking 1st on Google India for a particular search term.
i have started Google ads ( adwords ) for that, around 48 hours back.

The website ranking has decreased drastically, on 3rd page for the same key phrase.

Does adwords has to do anything with it, or its just my wrong feeling ?

Can i get the ranking back to 1st in just 2 weeks ?? :'(

yes it was published just 15-20 days back. Domain is just 35 days old.

So, i'll have to work really very hard to get some improvement in ranking, which may or may not come in just 2 weeks. Google will not be handling a good rank to me so easily now... ??

Keep adding more content and do what you did before. Maybe you'll get 15 more minutes of fame.

Oh need more time to get a position.. better u do proper SEO... check you on page, add more content, and update regularly and also creat some back links ( little)... sould take minimum 3-6 months to get a proper position and for improvement and keeping the position need continual SEO,,,,

What's the term you so desperately need to keep anyways? One keyword will always keep you stressing about losing. One minor change in the algorithm and you're toast. Don't depend too much on one thing, especially something YOU CANNOT CONTROL!!

You can maintain your rankings by developing quality, viral content related to the niche that you are trying to rank for. The key here is to develop content that is viral, meaning that other webmasters link to the content and you receive shares, likes and retweets from major social media networks.

As well I agree that this keyword most likely is not the end of the world. I usually recommend trying to tackle 10-20 long tail keywords to start, in order to develop somewhat of a traffic basis to build on.

Don't panic if your site has gone 'walkabouts'. It can take a time to return but there are no guarantees. While you have time on your hands, you could build backlinks and optimize your website.

Definitely none. Be ready about the SERPs. Every 10 minutes your SERP is subject for a change.
