Assuming you mean traffic to the site: where does current traffic come from? How much from search engines? Whjat steps have you taken/are taking at the moment to get traffic? What countries do you do business with/want to do business with?

There is no fast way to increase your webstie rank. Work on things like creating keyword rich content and relevant do follow backlinks.

Whichever rank you referred to, just keep doing the following and then there should be good result:

1. Keyword Analysis - Keywords are the corner stones of a website. Keyword Analysis should precede content development.
2. Content - Content forms the basis of any site. The content should be rich in keywords that the site focuses on.
3. Link Building - Link Building are the next step in the SEO process. There are two concepts called the inbound and outbound links. They will help the site get a better page rank in search engines. But links do not mean just links; they should be quality ones. The number of outbound links should be less than inbound links.
4. Search Engine submission - Submission of your site to quality search engines. There are both paid and free search engine submissions.
5. Directory submission - There are paid and free directories available. You can make the submission of your site but submit it in the related category and the site.
6. Meta Tags - Meta tags are very crucial in the SEO process. Relevant and sensible Meta tags only make the site search engine optimized. (these are tips I summarized from seo experts)

i don't think after penguins update keyword rich content is a requirement to increase ranking, but it is a type of spamming according to new algorithm.

As most experts have said here stop worring about "Rank" which every it may be...and worry about getting tariff to your site..

Try these but dont Over do it it does not help ... Tweet your pages , post the link of your site on FB wall , Do a little bit of Social Bookmarking on sites like DIGG , Reddit etc...

Now the above suggestions are only my two cents...be sure do them carefully and as i said DO NOT OVER DO THEM.

You must have a good on page optimization of website and then build quality back links to achieve high rankings in Google. For this you can build links from different SEO sources like article submissions, directory submissions, forum posting, blog posting etc.
