Hi!

I have been working a a company in their link trading department for about 3 months. I've enjoyed it but have really found some things frustrating and I thought maybe someone here could offer me some advice

Why is it that so many people who require you to add a link to their site never add yours? I am finding this to be very common and it's really annoying. Our site is legit. It's contents are purely professional and we offer business services. Do others find this to be a trend? That so many don't add your sites?

Can you suggest to me some directories that are on the ball where I could submit our company and and they will actually add it? Our homepage PR is 7 and the PR for our links pages average about 3.

I've discovered that a lot of the link traders are from other countries and involved in off-shore web-design, and off-chore financial companies, etc. What are they doing? Is it legal?

Are there any good forums for link traders or other advice you can offer a newbie?

Thanks so much for your time. If you want to email me directly, you can reach me at links((@))needityesterday.net.

Depends what the financial services are, obviously if it's money laundering, that's illegal. But anything else, from web design to borrowing money to selling stock, why wouldn't it be? It's not illegal to deal with money in other countries, it's not illegal to do trade internationally, and there aren't any laws about you can't do these things over the web. I don't see a problem?
