I already subscribe to the NYTimes, get their headlines every day in the email. I've been reading less of them lately, but still.

Ahhh, the high page rank. That explains it. Most of those web sites have been around since before the internet. Hell, they had the NY Times back in the 1800s, and I hear Google likes old domains, too.

Forrest you nailed. They cost so much because they have been around so far. They're not only out of the sandbox, but they're even out of the park itself.

By the way Adam you crack me up. I don't know which is funnier, your original post and the reason you started the thread or some of the responses. I guess it's a combination of the two.
