hi ,
google search engine has my sitemap and it is ok. problem is i want to redo my website and use the same domain name. someone said i would have to redirect my old pages to the new ones in the google search engine. for example, my home page, http://www.modernabode.com would be new but google has this one. any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
thanks
jp

If the page names stay the same it will be updated as Google reindexes.

If you are changing page names and old ones have new counterparts then a redirect is the right way to go.

How depends on what you have available, ASP, PHP etc. Apache, IIS, Zeus.
.htaccess, custom 404 etc.
