This is something that didn't strike me until last last night, while I was writing a blog post on the Great Firewall of China. There are a great deal of governments and ISPs that block access to a web site using its ( the server's ) IP address.
On the other hand, computers are getting so much more powerful, one server is now able to manage hundreds of sites. Shared hosting is born, and profitable. Except, this brings up a problem. If another site that's hosted on the same server as yours mentions evil concepts like freedom or democracy, or perhaps does something illegal, like host an mp3 FTP server, they'll eventually be blocked. And so will you.
How is this dealt with in SEO?
