I'm not sure what you're thanking me for? Glad you enjoyed looking at the photos, but unless you mean the creative commons ones you can't use them in print or on the web. I replied to this thread to give John advice about his job situation, not so people could walk off with my photos. I'm sure you noticed the © Forrest Croce watermark on every photo on the site ( other than the creative commons gallery ).

Just to make it clear, I made those photos doing things like camping in Yosemite for New Years, or sleeping in primitive campgrounds ( no running water ) in the desert 50 miles from the nearest town in Utah or Montana, by driving across the continent half a dozen times. I've put a lot into my photos, and they aren't mere commodities.

Thanks for the complements, but the thing is, despite not having done a great deal of SEO for my site, I'm #3 of 5.6 million for "Seattle night photos" ( without the quotes ). My best frame of reference is only last month, so I don't really know how this number fits into context for sites like mine, but this month I've had 9,500 visits, as of yesterday, the 20th. Improvements are good, but they aren't frantically needed.

Honestly, I think the photos speak for themselves. My hummingbird moth photo is content you won't see anywhere else on the web. In fact I might not get another opportunity to shoot something like that in my lifetime. We were hiking deep in a canyon in Uinta National Forest, on the lady in the photo's birthday, and found a patch of a few dozen of these moths, that weren't afraid of humans.

I'm willing to "glorify my achievements" on the grounds that I get to lie as blatantly as you just did as it pertains to copywriting. If you're going to make a claim like that, you really need to make sure all of your ducks are in a row (spelling, grammar, etc.)

For example:

• Copywriting is one word and is not a proper noun; therefore, it requires no capitalization.
• "my marketing plans DO (not does)..."
• "It's (as in it is) a combination (as in singular)..."

If you want to understand why John's so upset about having to deal with an SEO, look in a mirror. Do you see the reflection? Do you see the lying, the boasting, the bragging, the cluelessness? That's what he's dealing with.

Put a sock in it already. No one asked for your services. No one here would...we're smarter than that.
