Amy you don't need to submit your site to Ask. Just let them find you. It may take longer than for the other engines to find you, but they will find you. Patience is an important skill for seo.

Nothing to worry you can not directly submit your website to ask but if you want that ask index your website than just build quality links for your website
# Submit your website in Directories which have high PR
# Submit articles.
# post in forum and put your link.

there is no time frame for index your website by ask.
