Quality content is not a factor. Its a requirement. About it being unique is an advantage. I'm looking for some other way to propogate my blog to new readers.

It was a nice link you gave me greenlush. But, pop ups are almost always ignored by people. Its true that it improves alexa ranking but it wont fetch me some organic traffic. I'm interested in the scheme though but I'm really if it would tarnish the professionality of my blog. Like, big blogs never use advertising like this and I'm battling against them. So, I should follow what they do and more.

I'm eagerly waiting for the release of Blog Traffic School by Yaro Starak. he claimes that we can develop our blog traffic from 0 to 1000 by reading his program and I actually believe him somehow because I read his blog Entrepreneurs Journey quite regularly. I now get some good amount of traffic from Webmaster-talk to my blog Webmaster Dome. My analytics account tells me. Anyway, thank you for all of you who read my blog. Hope you enjoyed it. But, unfortunately, I dont have that much loyal readers. Just guests. *sad*

Thats why I still think this question should go on. Who knows ? Maybe someone would come up with a really nice innovation.

How about trying Web Ring?
You can be a member of Web Ring and your web will have connection with related webs (like a ring). Search "Web Ring" in Google for detail.

quite not easy this "traffic" chapter but you have to remember that the internet has 2 sides ... (sorry for my experimental english) side 1 (webmaster's side) all what you want to have is after immediate payment and side 2 the internet's users all they want to have has to be for free.
Now try to get inside the real cyber way ... how, as well as why, will you pay to have visitors that are only ressources suckers ? In other words why should you pay to give away services and things for free ?

The whole things (internet) is generated then re-generated and gived out as "real-time" stuff but ....

Example : trying a search on Google for 'The Moon" the first page gives out 15 links ... with 3 links "Buy the Moon on Ebay" ...

Being into Military History .... I spent once a few time to type in Google "Adolf Hitler" and annalyse the answers ...
I got links to Date Adolf Hitler ... some others To Marry Adolf Hitler and even an invitation to spend 8 days in a Luxus Cruise with Adolf Hitler in the Bahamas.

I don't want to say that if I type Monica in Google I will have links to "eat me dot com" or "viste white house" but ... the system is working in double steps way as there is a little "something" between the time you click search and the time the search page comes.

Buying traffic is the best way if you have a incredible budget. If you can buy 1 hundred millions hits you will make money because you will get in this randomised package 0.3% targeted visitors for the area you are in. If you don't have money (I mean somes millions) just forget it because you will just pay another supports leads for Ebays and all these companies.

There is also another problem and no one is talking about ... The Backdraft Syndrom.
Making Money is great but ... beware the dog ....
In 1996 I became the first European Company to range in the World Top 25 with a websitte (www.sexysnoopies.com) and over 3 weeks (at least) 750.000 uniques / day ... This website was only created as a test website, it had almost no containt and was (java open) connected to one French XXX Passwords Hacker Page.
Ohhh we made a lot of money (December 1996 (example) 29.511 USD) but ... the server where this website was hosted (PA) blowed 3 times away and we had to pay almost 25.000 USD for the band use ...
This few words to tell you that not enough traffic can be a problem but too much traffic can kill you instantly.

Don't forget that we are talking about hits - visitors and uniques.

Now about blowing out in the search engines :

I think that the only way to get them is to fool them. BUT ( !!!! ) they'r good to.
Using randomised metas and up to date news into the metas like CNN and those biggies.
This is quiet a very hard work because it ask for hours and hours of works as you have to feed them as deep as you want but you will have to do the job.
A friend in France worked on this for the last 3 years and he's still not out with this job he called himself how to Trap and keep a robot.

This send you back to the only way that work : exchanging links with RELEVANT AND RELATED websites.
And again there is a new problem ... undesired containt that will show up in the 3rd or 4th level because one of your partners has a friend that link to him with a porn site.

Let's say you are running a website "www.weallbeleiverinsgod.com" and in your links pages you have a link to "www.chaplainfrederico.org" wich is a nice page with links to this and that but ... "visit Albert's website" and when you click you land on "www.crazzypussies.com" .... your dead ...

So the best way is to go inche by inche. It better to have 1000 good visitors and 5 good partners as 100.000 visitors and 150 partners.
Make your website sharp ... burry inside your subject and give out relevant infos about what you are dealing. Don't worry if it takes time to go from 1000 to 5000 uniques because every news visistor is a battle winned for you.
Remember also that these is 1 or 2 peoples every years that makes a hit with Internet and makes a lot of money. All the other are "going very very well" they have advertise partners that "always pay on date" and and and ....

The last thing I want to say is use your brain .... and don't loose time with things like "Buy my book because it will tell you how I made 1 million with Internet".
If you are making Millions .... will you spend your time to sale a cheap book to learn other peoples the way to kill your incomes ????
Naaaa .. if you make millions you will do exactly the same as I will .... get a rifle, shot this **** computer away, take your wife and kids and go fishing ...
