Well, my Webmasteric Blog which caters webmaster tips,SEO updates,internet gliches etc has almost 19 as my alexa rank. Is it good or bad ? My friend told me its really good. But, is it ? Someone else told me that its not good because since my blog is on a blogspot subdomain, the alexa is of that domain and not of my site. Which is right ? Well, my adsense earning for the last 2 months is $4() .Does this have any kinda relation with my problem ? Pls help me out !!!

No
the only thing that will change the Alexa rank is if you install the Alexa spyware and visit your own site 50 times a day for a month. Get friends and family to join in and play the game. Do that for 3 months and watch it fall or rise whichever it happens to be.
Then uninstall said spyware and you can then watch it go in the opposite direction.

I had a client who was cold-called by a company asking him to buy ad space, using the Alexa toolbar as the indicator. The argument was funny as hell too..."my site ranks 150,000 and yours is 600,000, so mine is four times as popular as yours." (Keep in mind that my client's site is in a niche market with a small target base.)

Then the advertiser claimed he got millions of page views per month. I pulled out a site I own that now ranks in the top 200,000 (but at the time was in the top 90,000), showed my client that in the toolbar, then showed him my stats for the site (which, as popular as the site was and still is, didn't reflect millions of page views per month or anything like that).

My client doesn't ask anymore.

Well, maybe yeah. Only blogspot will have such 'killer' ranks. On the other hand, it doesnt matter. Well, I think the reason why alexa is giving away toolbar is because all of us fools will search in the search bar and maybe click some "Sponsered results" and make 'em rich !
