These are also the methods I am using. Blog commenting is not spamming as most think. By doing this, you can share your thoughts about the blog post as well as having a link (which is your main purpose) to your site.

Article directory submission is also the best traffic generation method.

That is a really helpful article imo because it focuses a lot on article development and how well designing a constructive article can obtain you backlinks. I'm working with ezine right now to speak out about my trouble in college and how important it was to obtain my own personal pc and maintain good credit at the same time (a lot of relevance to my supervisors company).

Ultimately the article will be a quality backlink, I hope. SEO is very interesting stuff, and it's always fun to find different ways to obtain quality backlinks.

I still think that social bookmarking and forum posting is the best way to get backlinks with anchor text.

If having a link is your main purpose in posting a blog comment, that means you are not sharing your thoughts, but dropping an unwarranted link, which is spamming.

There are vaious ways to get backlinks, such as Social bookmarks, Blog commentings, forums signature exchanging, Article submissions, directory submissions, blogging, creating profiles with links on other sites and etc...... However, As far as in my experience, blogging + social bookmarks helps a lot with google. How do you all feel? Please do share your thoughts on it.
In my point of view social bookmarkings + blogging are the best.......
