yes ..facebook and twitter can give you a lot of benefit if you have a circle that is interested in what you offer? otherwise it just to improve page impressions .no real conversion you would see with unrelated traffic

Yes, even I do believe that Facebook and Twitter can be an effective tool in providing traffic to your website or blog. But you need to make sure that the traffic that you generate from these sources should be useful to you. Just generating traffic to your site is not the idea but to convert them to your customer is.

Both really helps on getting additional traffic which any site should take advantage from whether or not it is giving you a huge increase or just a bit. All still helps you promote you site, besides its for free.. =)

Right now I still haven't received any traffic from Twitter. I think you need to have huge number of followers.

bottom line - get like minded ppl in your networking groups
