How to improve listing on yahoo.

Hi,

My Site in at 8th position on yahoo on a keyword, but not going up, what should i do for this? and and an other site is also stuck at page 2 and not going up. i really dont know what to do with this: please help

hey, i want to know how long is your webiste, if it is a new webiste, i think you should do SEO, such as post on forum, blog submission , make comment, and make backlinks.... there are so many ways and just remember content is always the king, so you should fresh your blog everyday( i do that

Participate in forums, comment on do follow blogs and make some unique content for your site and do some article submission, blog creation.

Thanks for your suggestions: i am doing its SEO from past 3 months, and not getting the things up: i have updated site content 2 month ago, and after that i did not do any thing with it.

Getting ranked in Yahoo is little bit difficult, need long time work to reach in the top. Yahoo concentrating more on on page optimization I thing . Better add rich content and update frequently. Also try to build quality BL

Or if I may suggest, you might need to hire a professional SEO or try link building it as they have suggested above. But as for me, I find article submission effective.:-)

I agree with mate. If you want to promote your site in yahoo than you need to focus on more yahoo services.

man, Rome is not built in one day, seo is a long term job, you cannot see the effect in one day, why you didn't do anything with it after you fresh your site content???? i think update content everyday is good for your webiste, and with at the same , you should also do seo ( every day!!!)
then you can see the final effect

Well, as far as yahoo loves lot of content. If you can have a good and long content and try to get a link from there, that will be more valuable. So, article marketing really works a lot with yahoo. Apart from this, yahoo lover delicious.com (bookmark site), so, if you can have more bookmarks to your site, yahoo traffic will hit your site.
