how am i getting alot of traffic with my new website

Hi

I have only had my newest website up and running for about 10 weeks and I am recieving (according to awstats) over 4700 unique visitors to my site.
Best laught is, I only have one page. No links set up yet.

in the first month I had over 2500 unique visitors.

Could something be wrong here.

How did you SEO your site. A lot of backlinks?

You must be in a heavily traffic niche w/ virtually no competition. I guess that's possible. I wish I could find something like that.

I have learned to not trust those free analytics programs that web hosts often install. Their stats are often much different than what Google Analytics shows. Can you drill down to see which keywords or websites are sending that traffic. It could be you got lucky or you could be in a very weak niche.

2500/month ~= 83/day
I'm sorry but, anyone here who thinks that is a lot of traffic obviously knows nothing about promoting a web site.

Heck, you could slap up a page of lolcatz and get more traffic.

Hi,

I think if he will receive about 2500 unique visitors per days then i think he can earn good amount with help of adsense only. And can sell also text area for some dollar. After traffics there are lots of way to earn money online. But about 80 to 100 visitors per days is not good but also not too bad.

There are many traffics promotional work. If you want to promote your traffics then you can do press release submission, forums posting, social bookmarking, social networking, blog commenting and blog posting work for your site. These work will effect your site traffics.

Well,The Reason Of Getting Lots Of Traffic is that You have Used a Very Good keywords and Have Properly Linked Your Site,using a Proper Tags thats It.

maybe you choose some great keywords.or your domain name is unforgettable.did you do some SEO before ?that is possible if your website content is attractive or relate to some hot envents happened in society currently.i think this situation is useful to popularize your website or to be a advertising agent in the future

One thing I think that made this happen is the domain. There are ltos of people typing in the "query + .com" not knowing it exists and got your site in the first page.

Also, having this kind of traffic can easily be monetized. I say monetize your site right now with affiliate links and adsense ads.

beats me.. I've never created a page and gotten 80 visitors per day for no reason at all. Best bet is to use an analysis tool to see where your traffic is coming from, put more information on your page/site, and use this to your advantage.

so many ways to make traffic,the faster is using adwords of course,using autosurf is fine if that is the reliable one,alternatively,press release and building your own web application is the instant way to get exposure
