Google considers 200+ factors while ranking a site in SERPs. So we never can know when and if a site ranking will improve. The best thing that we can do: is to keep offering great content/services in our site and try to attract natural links.

If you can get links from a high-PR/Trusted and relevant site: that can help a lot.

Keep on making more backlinks it will obviously work sooner or later.

I wonder where you usually gain your backlinks. I think you need to focus in getting quality backlinks.

i have found 2 factors that can improve my listing.

- Remove the Image from top, and place text in H1 tag,
- Do some changing in contents.

You have to generate quality backlink for your site. It is more beneficial to you. Also regular updates in your site may help to get higher position for your site.

Try to get back links from sites which is already up on google for keyword targeted by you. Maybe it can give you best and fast result

you can also choose long tail keywords which are less competitive

SEO is supposed to be continuous process. Just keep on building quality links for your site to outrank your competition.

But, if u are stuck in that, then it is not good either!

Try to do some affilate marketing, like adwords? It can help to bring a little bit change!

not a problem, your work is not efficient as your competitors work, first review your competitors which comes in above you in the serp then adopt the same thing which tou are missing, and work hard definitely after some time you come in 1st or 2nd position.

Look at your competitors' backlinks. backlink from where they left their links (if they are relevant).

If you're already on front page you don't need anymore onpage optimization.

What's needed is more quality links.

Well, as u have alrady been the 8th position, and I guess u have decent content, then u want to keep on increaisng, I guess what u need is still the backlinks!

Remember that Google gives more value on the quality of back links. So get back links on relevant and DoFollow sites. Quality is always better than quantity!

Being on the 8th position is not bad, but if you want rank higher than that, you must keep working on your seo efforts... If you can get high PR and authority links together with unique content updated in a regular basis that would be helpful...

It is good progress to have topped to 8th position in Google. But as some one has well said"To beat a competition you should know how to compete". Find out about the secrets of those who are above you. Soon you will rule them.

Being with that position is a good achievement. Since you've already work so hard to reach it. Maybe it just happened that the other who rank 1-7, is working hard to maintain their position. So just keep on working on it and keep on building quality links. Goodluck

Well, u need new fresh content which could bring u new fresh traffic. And the more important thing, believe it or not, backlinks are what u need!
