Your robots.txt file is meant more to tell the spiders what they shouldn't do rather than what they should. If you don't want particular files or directories crawled, you would indicate that in the robots.txt file. Note, however, that your competitors can also access it.

ha - me too, all these "SEO's" around and no-one has mentioned the poor ol' sites visitors

There is no such thing as an alt "tag"! They are called alt "attributes" - simple

Create a canonnical URL so you don't spill your Google Juice over everybody's nice clean shoes.
