Now a days Internet marketing is growing faster than before.I think SEO will surely take an important place in coming years.Agree that its a challenging job.There are two main part of SEO,one is On page optimization and other is Off page optimization.But i am confused which one is more vital to optimize a web page?

No need to be confused. There is no such thing as off-page SEO.

Any work you do outside of your site is advertising and marketing, not optimization.

Both are important in a ratio of 30% and 70%. You can not afford to miss any one of these two.

both are important. but ithink off-page seo is more important than on-page seo.

Both on page and off page SEO is important. On page SEO with low competition keywords can give you lots of traffic from search engines.
Off Page SEO, such as article marketing, signature advertising, etc..gives you instant results, this is also good traffic to your website.

those two are important factors in SEO work...30% on-page and 70% off page are good ratio for that..

to me it's 100% OffPage. It's possible to rank well with a really poorly optimised page but with a superb OffPage campaign. I've seen sites with no OnPage optimsation whatsoever ranking top thanks to great links, normally due to great content.

This doesn't happen very often though, and is probably down to luck more than anything.

But for us SEOers, I believe in the importance of OnPage optimisation, in which case, I agree with the above 30-70% ratio.

both are important, that's why seo starts with on page and then after that off page optimization and a good seo focusing on all the aspects of seo.

both are like two side of a single coin so you need to do both onpage and offpage optimization.

Both of them plays a big role to get into top rankings!.. The first thing you have to focus is doing the On-Page Optimization.. Its the proper use of meta tags, title tags, keywords and description.. After you have finished focusing on the On-Page, the next thing is doing the Off-Page Optimization, it deals with getting quality of back links.. The SEO strategies falls on this category..

I thing bothe are importent.. On page -- no need to do always.. once optmized is enough and then need to be some updation on content.. But off page is continues work.. can not stop for a period ....

In my opinion as search engines develop more emphasis will be given to good quality text copy from the sites content, and many of the current methods will eventually be redundant.

The problem with the current methods, eg pagerank, backlinks, titles and everything else, has got to the state where they're being manipulated far too much, resulting in too many crap listings in search results. Remember the days of meta keywords and how they were abused? The same thing is happening with todays "SEO" methods and it will reach a critical point where things like pagerank no longer have influence because of abuse.

Doing both On-Page and Off-Page Optimization is a great combination!.. One can't live without the other!.. You'll have better chances of getting into top rankings if your gonna combine both!..

Obviously both are very important for SEO. If you do both thing well than you can get your search engine ranking fast.
For seo you need to both on page and off page of your site you can not get fast your serp just leaving one it will not work for your site.

According to me, It is like 2 eyes of a human. OFF and ON page optimization are very important to get good SERP as well as good PR. Good SERP and good PR will lead to good traffic. Good traffic leads to more sales....

Both On Page and Off page SEO really help to get good Result in Search enging.

Both on page and off page optimization are important. But i give more Weightage to off page optimization.
