Results vary based on time of day?

Am I the only one who's noticed variation in search engine results based on time of day and day of week in Google?

Am I crazy?

Search results vary and time of day is one of those variables. Depends on the query, but it's not uncommon to see different results at different times.

From No.1 page one on the weekend, to 6th position page 2 on Monday morning?

The same goes with morning and evening.

Google results vary based on time of day, location, whether or not I'm logged in or not, previous searches, results actually clicked from previous searches, the list goes on and on

yes i have also experienced it.if we are logged in then also result positions are changed....

Isn't it called the "keywords fluctuation?" Anyway, I find it really hard to get a steady position in the first page of Google SERP, everything seems to be dancing... Week after week it just dances up and down, but still on the same page. What's worst is, I have keywords that's in the 100th place then suddenly drops to 500, and after a week it comes back on the 100th place. I guess I should be building more quality links on that keyword.

Well, it's the whole point behind search results - they have to vary. Besides, there are individual factors like search history, location, etc.

Well.. even I experienced the same. There is a kind of fluctuation in the position of keywords but its really uncommon to watch it on a particular days at different time. Sometimes, the listing being proper for the whole time for that day, and sometimes the position varies by one or two position. Once, one of my keyword was in the range of 100 and after some days its just disappears and then I have to make a hard efforts to get it back in position.

yes it is very true but i think it google search is also case sensitive...

NO you are not the only one as this is the way of ranking in G. The site will be ranked something else in day and some other rank in night. This is what G algo is all about. You can never judge their algo.
