Who would have thought it would be so complicated? I've scheduled a blog post to publish in a couple of days that provides a case study (the site I mentioned). It might help if you're struggling with the concept.

Lots of crooks out there . However, I believe it's safe to trust in this case: pagerank does not have to transfer into traffic and serps. Given the fact that toolbar pr reflects outdated data, obsessing with it does not make any sense at all.

Rubbish. PR depends on links. Links depend on people thinking your content is linkworthy. That depends on how good it is, not how often you update it.

PR 7 is tough, I haven't seen that many, you need money and a reliable seo to help obtain that rank. But traffic is more important.

PR 7? Wow, I am bleeding to try to get my first PR, and my site doesn't have it yet..
it would need an special abbility that called as "PATIENCE"
never mind about PR, it is not a big problem if you dont care about it. :P
