I am new in SEO field and handling a site < removed > for optimization. I would like to know about social bookmaring and website navigation. Please tell me about social bookmarking and how to start navigation of site.

so what you really mean is that you are just looking for excuses to link drop whichever turnkey hotel booking you happen to be "optimising"

In my own words...

In SEO, social bookmarking is an off-page optimization technique which allows us to bookmark, organize and store links of our favorite websites and share those links to the members of that particular social bookmarking site. It will help our site to have a decent amount of traffic and backlinks because our links are publicly viewable. (note: you can make your bookmark a public or private one, it depends on you)

Site navigation is a collection of links, images, flash and other elements that is usually found in the top of every web pages. It is important because it helps visitors to go from one page to another of that particular website.

remember bookmark your sites on social bookmarking sites that give dofollow links. Meaning if you craft a piece of content and title it with the keyword phrase you need, you are getting a free link with the correct anchor text.

No such thing as "dofollow"

I think that "dofollow" has entered the lexicon as a term meaning " the absence of "nofollow" on links within a page or part of a page."
I am fairly new at this, so I'm sure somebody more knowledgeable can probably correct this if it's wrong.

I think the thread is misleading. this talk about social bookmarking and site navigation, and all of you guys are now talking dofollow.
social bookmarking is for link building purpose. site navigation is for your site. they uses navigation to make it easier for users to use the site. its like a category list.

given that the thread only started as a link drop, I think it's time to close it.
