Content is the king. Search engines and user like to see unique, informative contents.
(2)Keywords
How search engine knows which sites are related to search query. Keywords is the key to find out.
(3) Backlinks
Site popularity is very important to get high rank.

In my point of view 3 most important factors are 1. Proper Title, 2. Nice Description, 3. Original content

Content is king, after that are backlinks and page SEO....

My top 3, here they are:

1) Always Keep your content fresh

2) Incentivize visitors to return to your website (hold contests, offer enewsletters, etc)

3) Market Analysis (Study your competition, learn from their keywords)
