Don't ever, ever, ever, ever, try any "tricks" or "shortcuts." Your site might jump in the rankings, but Google's not stupid. In fact, Google is a lot smarter than every web designer, SEO practitioner and marketing guru in the business. They know the tricks, and if they come across a new one, they'll soon realize it and maybe ban your site.

This is a dumb trick, it wont work. It will just give you some bib targeted traffic, thats it, and maybe kill some bandwidth

You can test it on a domain you are willing to burn, or leave it.
Even burned domains have a purpose in life.

I tried the picture of a carrot then the turnip and my site came up for the terms "stupid" and "bonehead", but being a travel related site...well.

Honestly, why would you put out dirt like that without expecting some kind of backlash?

If you use ridiculous workarounds, cheats etc.. then you are bound to be caught by google.

I had an <invisible> </invisible> tag in my html page many years ago. I was testing with the tag to determine its value. Indeed, at the time I had a copyright notice within the tags. Well, FIVE years later, google finally got around to sending me a note that invisible tags were improper. They gave me a warning. It was nice that they didn't spank me and just sent me to my room! I missed dinner that night.

I am happy to say that particular site is still P4. It was registered in 1996 which would make it a grandpa site too!
