How long did you wait for some real search engine traffic?

It all depends on what qualifies as real search engine traffic.

There is no time limit for real traffic you have to promote your site in that way and you have to wait for real traffic till you get your targeted traffic.

It really depends on how well you work on your site.

It depends on how you work actually.. If your having good back links then you have a better chance to increase traffic.

For me...I have tried to rank high in every niche - this is where I see targeted traffic.

It really depends on how well you optimize your site's pages and how well you build links for your site. You really need to rank your site in search result page for certain competitive keywords that are relevant to your site's niche to get real traffic or organic traffic from SEs.

If you want a real search engine traffics, waiting is the last thing you should do. All you need is a lot of hard work, fresh content and several effective precise strategies.

Not waiting, agressively pursuing is how I'd put it. Just a lot of hard work.

To get search traffic it can take weeks and months...and even scarier, years...depending on how difficult the keyword(s) is to win, and how much effort you are putting into it. You can rank easily for double amputee grandmas on wheelchairs but not so easily for "free". The trick is knowing what you can do and setting goals.

It all depends on how you promote your site or pages. It will only take a couple of minutes depending on your efforts. If you are using article marketing, it will take a while for your articles to be seen on the SERPS and it also depends on the great keywords that you researched.

It's depend on your work .First you have to submit your site all the search engines like Google,Yahoo,AOL etc.And you have to submit your site link to other best sites.If your site rank is high in the Google then your rank is high in all search engines .if you put your effort in your site with Hard work you get more traffic on your site.

No 2+2=4 answer of this question. It depends on how you plant to promote it. How much time you take it to create back links for your site.

That's obvious.! But the real question is in what time you ranked on the first page?

I waited for 3 to 4 months for real traffic as i was only dependent on organic optimization and had no money for online marketing and all. Anyways my efforts were really good and today i am getting satisfying traffic.

the best way to increase traffic is getting backlinks to your site from other relevant websites.

I wouldn't wait for the traffic to come. Work on your website(great content, backlinks, social media etc.) and it will happen.
