A well branded site that ranks is more appealing than a well branded site that doesn't.

That's as far as it goes for me.

The points in that article represent a very tiny slice of the pie, and while I'm still converting sales from Google, I'm not going to lose focus on what works for me.

Anybody who ignores the search engines is ignoring a massive avenue of potential sales.

Nice read.. it makes easier to get clients online than checking with keywords not really reliable and won't give your site traffics that can convert to sales.

imo, rankings is just a position. your site can be convert more conversion without ranking at all. you just need to have a quality content that people will be interesting.
