I run website www.124resume.com its about resume writing etc.
I need advance seo tips to improve traffic.As far i understand i have applied all basic techniques for 'on site' seo. I am missing out on few technical ones.

I am working over directory submissions, article submissions, relevant link exchanges, content updating and optimizing keywords, title and meta tag information.
Is there any thing else i am leaving behind which is important. ?

You can get also links from Comments posting in related Blogs and sites.

and try to post some Blogs with quality content so it will sure Help.

Same get the some Forums lists of your related category like so it will be increase traffics in your site.

Paul ! Thanks for your anticipation. I have had about 6 link exchange with, Pr4 to Pr6 which is quite relevant to my domain. I am just waiting how long will it take to have any effect on my traffic and SERPs.
Whereas whatever you suggested i am doing on regular basis.

i recommend 'seobook' to help you get your site well ranked in google...seobook.com is where you will find the book...not free but hey its worth it

If your done with on page optimization.. Then all you need to do now is to apply the off page optimizations. Which comprises the ff:

• Directory submission
• Classifieds ads posting
• Link exchange
• social bookmarking
• social networking
• blogging: So you could write any updates on your website and possibly put some links there pointing to your site.
• Article submission

Just don't forget to read some rules and the do's and dont's in some area mentioned above^. Good luck!

also you might want to consider buying links from text brokers like adtoll or adbrite...text-link-ads and even advolcano...theyre all great sources of links but TLA will get you better PR than the other ones..

I am sorry if that sounds dumb, but as far as i know Adtoll, or adbirte and TLA are online advertisters and publishers like adsense, how come they can give me links ?

For goodness sake!!

You cannot "optimise" your site on a third party site, think about it!

To make something to be at it's optimal you have to be improving the actual object! You can't improve page "A" while doing something on page"B"

Social Media is MARKETING NOT optimising.

And most of the clueless so-called social media "optimisers" are simply link beggars and blog spammers.
"off-page optimising" is just another stupid term that means nothing, in a industry full of stupid terms that mean nothing.

GET A CLUE! Instead of abusing the "social media" sites for spammy link dropping, learn how it can be utilised properly.

Maybe reading -> The Clueless SEO and recognising yourselves might bring about a new understanding!

It is wonderful web traffic you will get from the powerful social bookmark, but don't spam it, do it naturally in order to keep it as a reliable social network in the eye of major search engines

I am still striving for traffic though, still building up links with even Pr4,Pr5 sites. they all are very relevant. this all is adding up my frustration towards what ever i am doing and feel like i missing out on some thing really really important in it.

Stop focusing on building links from "PR4, PR5 sites." Just build relevant links. Who cares if they're from sites that have no PR?

google does provide a useful tips, just look at their support section, or you could check wikipedia for that..
