Dear friends

I am Joey, i owned quite a few number of sites which are very professional ones and have 200 to 500 unique hits daily traffic, i usually make 10 to 15 $ a day combine from all sites, but some times it gets really low like 5 to 6 from all sites... i have been tryin to increase the traffic of all my sites. but i get frustrated and ends up moving to second website. This way i have not manage to do that well in any of my website. It frustrates me badly. I just want to improve the traffic through genuine ways, which to me are directory submissions, article submission, link building and good contents.
I have been working over all of them but never felt good enough difference. Is there any thing i am doing wrong ? Or am i missing any thing out.
Kindly advice me some thing if you have any idea what i am talking about.

Thanks
Joey

Couple of questions for you that might help you think...

- How long have you been working on the sites?
- How many links do you have to each one of the sites?

Sometimes, for people who can't manage that many sites, focusing all your energy on one/two sites is the best option. You can put all your available marketing budget to links and providing good content. Once the site is producing a healthy return and making you money, launch another site and repeat the process. Continue until you have as many sites as you do now, but all successful. It might be hard to admit it to yourself, but you might not be able to focus on that many sites all at once.

well probably take maximum 3 sites as your flagship sites and merely concentrate on them probably from these sites if people are interested in other topics they can go on to them.

market your 3 sites only

probably if you can share in absolute brief what all you do to promote them then maybe we can tell what more could be put in...??

Welcome to everyones world, its the same for probably everyone on this board, we all get frustrated at the results, one of the most important things to remember is be patient, things dont happen over night, its quite hard to promote 5 or 6 sites at once, have you thought about working on a few of them first ?

They key is to have faith and keep plugging, just make sure that you keep the content fresh and have links coming in.

i have huge list of directories i usually submit sites too, search for relevent links which i do not get mostly but some time i do with pr2 or p43 sites. I write article which i submit to articledashboad and ezineartices, i comment on blogs once in while too. Thats pretty much my work to promote sites. Some time i doubt i am missing some thing big which results in this frustration.

No, my expectations are not for last night, but for past more than 6 months.
I know what i am doing should help, more than often it does not.
one of my site 124radiostation.com it keeps on increasing its traffic with minimum of effort, because every once in week there is a site which link to my site hence improving the traffic.whereas rest of my sites are pretty much not there as i expect them too.

I certainly know it takes time but when it takes more time then it should, there has to be something wrong in entire structure of your efforts. I just like to anquire about the situation as some one might come up with something i am missing in all my efforts.

It also depends upon what you are using to monetize your site. If you’re using PPC ads, then perhaps finding an affiliate product that is a good fit for your site will earn more money even when traffic is relatively low.
