Here is my current situation. I have submitted my website to all major search engines. I am currently ranked on a very very saturated keyword on MSN's first page in the number one spot. On Yahoo search engine I am on page 2 in number 18 for the same very very saturated keyword. I come up on google first page ranked number one for a different keyword. Problem is when I had built the site I knew a little about SEO and at the time I did not incoporate a site map which would allow the bot's to scan all my level two pages and links. I have now created a site map and the bot's are not picking it up. I have learned alot about SEO and Rankings from a guru by paying him to teach me. The problem is I learned that once you are listed on search engines it is very hard to get new pages indexed onto the search engine. Can anyone tell me how to do this please. I need to get the bots to pick up the site map and all my lower level links and pages for me to reach number 1 for my keyword. Thanks all in adavance for any and all input and advice.. Xavier

Im not sure this guru has any idea what hes talking about. Put a link to your sitemap in the footer of all pages, and link to all your other pages from the sitemap including descriptions of each page.

Then go about building some quality links to help you rank

Simple as that really

This guru that taught me showed me his bank deposits from his websites prior to me paying him to learn the SEO secrets. He makes 70k a month on a steady basis from his 60 different websites. So I took him rather seriously.

Yahoo and MSN bots have scanned my site since I added the site map but when I search for my url or keywords my level 2 pages do not come up in the search results just my level one pages..

I forgot I did include the link to my site map in the footer inc.php file.

Search engine optimizer (SEO), usually a good SEO firm provides useful services to its web customers. Services like site architecture, a good site design, find relevant directories to which a site can be submitted, site compatibility to its viewer and to search engines. How ever there are unethical practices as well followed by few unethical SEO’s , giving a bad name to the industry by doing aggressive marketing efforts and their attempts to unfairly manipulate search engine results.

There are though good SEO companies that will improve your site and also will improve your chances from being dropped from search engine results altogether. Not only a good SEO will structure your site systematically but as well structure promotions and practices for better results and ethical practices. To know more about ethical practices, google provides ethical guidelines for webmaster to perform.

No SEO Company or individual can guarantee you a #1 ranking on Google, yahoo, msn or any other Search Engine (SE), similarly MGT’s whole purpose to this site is spreading awareness and information on best practices to be performed by any SEO or a fresh start-up Web Companies. A ethical SEO never sends spam mails guaranting you #1 position at any SE. If one does, ask for references who can tell you the facts, ask for more of their success stories, if still not satisfied find out more from any Search Engine about the company by simply typing the name of the domain or a companies name, ask more people with common references about the company. Do the process over and over again till you are really satisfied by the companies profile, cause if you fail to choose a right company your domain and the companies name may be removed entirely from by major SE’s directories. If you are still interested to know more, you can Learn Search Engine Optimization Today.Again as said earlier a good SEO will always provide valid reasoning for any optimization process before they begin.

A ethical SEO never unethically submits your site to 100’s of search engines promising you more web traffic. Believe us (because we have done this ages ago as a mistake) they are useless practices and not worth a time. You may see the traffic results higher in the traffic analyzer for a day or so but you will also see it fall back very soon. There are no results from one or 2 day traffic rising in peak.

Web traffics are permanent traffics that you see in your control panel or any other web analyzer reports. They show you daily traffic but the accumulation is based on weeks and months. Web Advertising is another way for more web traffic, but not a SEO process. Advertising in Google Ad words and Yahoo Overture and others is simply getting sponsored for keywords you choose and pay per click process, nothing more.

A ethical SEO firm shall carry out process such as spam abuse alerts and report it to respective SE's complaint forum. An ethical SEO never spasm offline or online.

To make sure what you pay is what you get always ask for a refund option at the start of the project. A good SEO company will always promise and obey the ethical norms for client's satisfaction. A full and unconditional money-back should be guaranteed.

A firm believe in an SEO company is a must and it only comes when you get desired results. But do not be faked at times by companies who perform un-ethical jobs like performing doorway pages. Usually doorway pages contain hidden keywords directing to other clients domains of the SEO Company. Keep a constant check on your keywords and links on each page. These pages can drain away the link popularity of a site and route it to the other clients, which may include sites with unsavory or illegal content.

Always go for a Written Contract following the ethical SEO guidelines. For Ethical SEO guidelines please refer to :

Means less than nothing, sorry. I know nobody likes to hear that. My last stock broker showed me his quarterly pay stub which was for over $300,000. I lost money on every single stock this bum put me into.

PM me the URL of your site and details on the age of the site, the keywords you were mentioning you rank for, which pages you're having trouble getting indexed, and how old those individual pages are.

I don't want to let the cat out of the bag just yet as to my #1 project. It is a truly genuine idea which I came up with and don't want it to get stolen. Sorry not saying you are a thief but I don't want to take any chances. I am looking for a business partner however to help me make this work. Realistic figures in the near future is over 50k a month.

Going to be hard to find a business partner if you won't discuss the idea, don't you think?

Well yes you most definatley have a point. But if I was to look for a business partner I have a truly genuine opportunity at hand and would need to meet them in person and show them what they would be getting into and also show tangible proof of why and how it will make at least 50k a month in roughly a year.

Hi,

Try to get an NDA together with a business plan so that you can discuss your idea with potential investors. I would also scale back your near term revenue goals, so that no one is greatly disappointed. I've learned that on the Internet, which is probably the most competitive marketplace that ever existed (you are basically competing against millions of people from around the world - some less ethical than others), and to make even a dime is not easy.

Good luck with your idea!

Rich
