I got a PR5 on one site just by using Arelis link manager and trading links for a month. Reciprocal or one way links can do the trick as long as you get enough of them.

You're only partially right. That method only applies for users living in areas that use the metric system or have a daily dose of solar radiation higher than 14.3 rads. All other users should use the formula I provided.
