Yes it is possible. My http://www.howtomakemoneysite.blogspot.com/ site was indexed within 48 hrs but then de-indexed a while later. Basically if you set a blog on blogger.com and post a few articles you are sure to be indexed but then again you might get de-indexed like me. I took my http://www.howtomakemoneysite.blogspot.com/ over to my host so that might have been a reason but I am not so sure.
I also had the experience of having my site indexed very quickly. At the time I wasn't counting the days but I'd say it it was within three days but I also had the experience of my website being de-indexed. At first I thought it might be that I was getting results from a server that hadn't picked up my website yet but it was several weeks before it was picked up again.
- Link to the site from a relatively high PR site
- Post in your signature on popular forums (doesnt always work)
- The blogger method as described above
Basically a few backlinks from website with PR7 and above can get your site indexed within 24 hours. I heard this from a SEO guru but I never have a chance to try it yet.
I have read that a website can be indexed in google within 48 hours. Is that possible? Anyone who has experienced that?
If you submit a sitemap to google you can be lucky and be on within a few days. I think the fastest I've ever seen was 72 hours, but don't hold your breath because it can sometimes take quite a while.

I disagree
Disagree because a person want to index his site fast in google means that at start it have no back links and then he purchase some pr7 links
Don't you think Google will think these links as spam ?
Too new site and too high link but you are saying links means many pr7 links
use to be you could get indexed in 2 days now takes 4 to 5 days sometimes a week. Last one took me 5 days with aggressive linkage By indexed I mean listed when search by domain name
It does happen. Some websites are well-indexed by google and linking from them results in relatively fast spidering. However it does not guarantee positioning. Also google has a tendency to index a page, show it on results for some time and then drop it. It may then come back 6 months later and start showing it in results again.
A couple inbound links from PR 3 or 4 sites should work.
A good way to get a high PR link quickly is on wikipedia. I should warn everyone that I don't support the idea of spamming wikipedia, nor are they tolerant of it but...If you contribute a quality tidbit of information to a wiki page that you also have one your web page, you can list your site as a source. Also, many wiki pages have a section for external links pertaining to the topic. Make sure that you contribute quality information and not just your link or it will be promptly removed. But this is a very good way to get a high (6-7 PR easy) text link!
