Where can I get the most accurate free PR check. I checked on one site it said 4. I was on another site that also said 4 and that my predicted pr was 5. Today though two sites said my site was PR3?
Where can I get an accurate check? Thanks ~John

I am having the same problem. I have been to countless PR check sites they all say that my PR is 4. When I check using the Page Rank on my Google tool bar it says 3. Which one is correct and why the difference? Is there a place where I can get the authentic PR for my site ?
Yeah I also use iwebtoo.com/rank to check page rank. It is very powerful tool, also shows alexa ranking with google.
By the way can I ask what do you want to do with PR? Are you thinking of improving it or what?

I use Google PageRank status. There was a toolbar PR update recently so its to be expected that you're getting varied results at the moment. Plus some PR tools will show your home page's PR if they can't figure out. (if checking pages other than your home page)
I think the Google Toolbar is as authentic as you're going to get (although AFAIK all the online sites get their info from the same sources as the toolbar).
Ok, thanks for all the replys. Another question I have...
What is it when a PR check brings up a list ( I think this was on the site powell suggested ) of 50 some domains and some have different PRs than others?
What is this all about?

Its some of Google servers around the world, allot of them seem to update at different times, so look for one with a different PR than your last one and that may be your new PR.

Yeah, its also the reason why some people may see different rankings. A person in the UK may see a different ranking for a site in googl.com from that a peron in the USA. Differences like this will be due to what data center (google server) they are currently using.
