Does anyone do this and earn a profit?

Is there anyone out there that actually gains a lot from adsense for search? I feel i'm getting a very very very small bit which is like a few cents every 4 months, which is not worth it imho.

My www.shoes.nu site is getting about 10 - 20 search per month. I haven't upgrade the site since december 05'. Moreover it seem like the traffic is increasing and the number of searches also. Maybe because of all the ads I have on the sidebar.

wow 10 - 20 searches a month lol, quite a lot, but you don't earn that much from searches do you?

The first 20 search were over .50 cent/ per search click, then it drop to .05 to .10 ..

www.hiifii.com gets ~4-5 searches/day bcos people are just lazy to search the forum - www.hiifii.com/forums so they directly search from the search box

The adsense search helps in a way that it provides ready access by user to search engine. But I don't think it's a good idea to be your main source of google adsense revenue.

It also depends on your placement

Try to keep in place of the default forum search button and see the results.

yeah placement of ad's and search boxes is very important! I'll have to look into it again!

Do have a look and make sure you put in the page where all your navigation links are placed, so that it blends them
