I was wondering if Ask Jeeves was one of the "big" SE, I saw many advertisement of them recently. What do you guys think?

Well many people still use Ask Jeeves, since it used to be huge before Google. It wouldn't be "huge" as I think google, yahoo and MSN cover it, but it's still big enough that I submitted my site to it immediately after setting it up

I've heard of Ask Jeeves before, but I think they are on the decline. They used to be pretty useful, but now I think that direct search results are more helpful.

Well the people (especially adults who didn't grow up with the internet) still use it quite often, simply out of habit. So it is useful to consider it a big search engine, as you'd be missing out on a lot not to.

I use jeeves when i cant find something on google and jeeves usually has it.

Heh, I haven't used ask jeeves in ages, haven't gotten any good results from them in ages.

Cool I learn something, I didnt realize they were large way back. I guess they should get new staff to come up with great ideas like google adsense.

I never really use it, I use to but ya.
I go with google first of course, then yahoo, then askjeeves, then msn, then some random search engine.
I usually find everything in google.

i used it as a kid lol as thats what the teachers told me to use.

It was my main search engine back in the neopets era (grades 4-6). Once I started web design I used google though.

Ask jeeves is getting more and more popular. You can search in questtions and they will be answered...its different but getting better
