I don't think there is any secret. There are only a few options to advertise to that many people. You could spend a crazy amount of money for ads on Yahoo or another mega site, you could work at SEO/SEM and slowly build up a site over time, or you can make somthing that is viral (remember the numa numa dance?) although that is largely luck if it catches on or not.
