I'm runing one of those "not-another-myspace-script-sites". Ads on my site are still the same that they were a week ago when i got my adsense account. So what can i do to display some other ads, not myspace related? I've read it's all about keywords. Does that mean i should change meta keywords in the html?

Well you can't run ads for a tree removal service on a myspace script site. Hence "contextual" advertising. Changing your copy, H-tags, page names, and meta tags will help change what kind of ads you're showing.

If you're running a myspace website and most of your content is related to myspace, the ads displayed will be related to myspace.

It's the same with other sites, if you're running a football (soccer) websites and most of your content is related to football (soccer), the ads displayed will be related to football (soccer). It's the way Google Adsense works. It displays adverts relevant to your content.

It's not just your meta keywords but also the content you provide on your page.

If it has anything at all with "myspace" in it.

Then your ads will be MySpace Relevant.

sometimes if i have trouble with relevant ads i put everything in a folder, with a relevant title.

eg

yourdomain.com/relevant_folder_name_goes_here/then_page

leave your index.htm in the root, works reallt well on forums.

I believe the keywords you use on your site, and meta tags will reflect on the links/sites that appear on your adsense ads. And I doubt you can choose ads that pay the most, google chooses them for you :P
