Hey,
I came across this forum about a week ago, I've been visiting daily and reading a lot of the threads and so far its been very helpful. I finally decided to sign up today and so here goes my first post. I run a Digital Camera Reviews blog over at http://www.digireviews.com/cameras/ The blog has about 600 posts and has been up for around 10 months. It was listed in google about 2 months ago and since then ive been only receiving around 15 people from google a day. The majority come in from yahoo and msn which puts the total around 40 visits a day (nothing i know). I was wondering if had any ideas on how i could get the amount of people coming in through google up, similar sites have 1000+ a day coming in easily. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks=)

well.. for starters you could better use /digital-camera-reviews/ in you url than /cameras/

you can still alter that and redirect the old dir to the new one with a 301.

Besides that start working on some serious link building. Get a link in your forum signs., post comments on other websites/blogs (don't spam!)

try to write your own reviews dont just copy paste like here from here

try to use bold and H1 for the most important keywords and also use the title tag for the links Printer Reviews

WordPress is pretty good with SEO out of the gates. So I would work more on creating some of your own content. Users will then get to know your site and want to return and tell their friends about it.

What form of marketing do you do for your site? Or do you just rely on search engines driving traffic to your site?
