Do you have a site newsletter?

If so, how often do you send it? Daily? Weekly? Monthly? How often is too often? I want to keep my visitors coming back, but I don't want to SPAM them and turn them away either.

You prepare the best info from last week and best topics and articles and send them in newsletter

I do not have any at the moment, but used to have. Then I sent it once every second week.

My opinion is that you should not send to much to them, or they will get tired of it. it is better if they get to long for it instead and that you get time to fill it with some real good content, instead of just crap to fill it out.
But of course, it depends on what kind of site and what kind of target group you have.

If you use a good third party newsletter company you won't have to worry about SPAM.

I have a newsletter on one of my sites and I make announcements every two months and get a ton of return traffic from it. It's great
