Hello Masters, I kinda read this article and I want to know your opinions about it Microsoft ISV SEO Program! Do you think that it can give a huge affect on us SEO's? Can this be a problem or not? Anyone?

Highly biased, minimally informative. But if you're jealous of Microsoft's search data, build your own engine. Then you'll know what keyword density it likes and the search volume for different keywords.

The article sounds like protectionism. It's just begging for some law to be made or changed to protect your job from competition that would help customers.

This is bad, but it will probably fail miserably for two reasons:

1) ISV stands for for Independent Software Vendor, and this creates an inevitable conflict of interest situation at some point. Why? Because Microsoft is the size that it is, they'll end up eventually finding two competing customers. What would they do then? Probably mess it up in the same manner most SEOs would and sell out.

2) They're targeting software vendors, most of whom probably won't go for it under the fear that MSN would screw them over and try to buy them out.

This is a relative non-issue. 6-8 months later, we won't be talking about it.
