1. Link building-
1. Resi-link
2. One way- link
3. Three way- link
4. Paid- link
2. Directory Submission.
3. Blog Commenting.
4. Article submission.

Is that enough to start some SEO service to small business companies? If no, Could anyone please brief the little that what I needed?

Website Tune-up
On-page Optimization
Social Networking based links

these informations are basic but if u wanna earn through seo then u have to learn about on page seo, ppc, internet marketing. There is wide criteria to earn money. So try to learn these things...................

I hope the OP got the idea that SEO is not "link building" by itself. In fact, link building is a very tiny tiny aspect of SEO. It helps to bring some traffic and can be useful in getting quality traffic if done correctly.

Effective SEO concentrates on what optimizing what is seen, and indexed, by the SE's.

As with all industries, you really shouldn't charge people do perform a service for them unless you've been doing it for several years. Experience is a lot more important than knowing what somebody on a forum says a keyword means.
