Does anyone know of a browser toolbar of some kind that shows the meta keywords and description for the page you are viewing. I am working on keywords and descriptions for a lot of pages, so I was wondering if there was a quicker way to view them.
If you use firefox there are quite a few extensions that will show you what you want. Here's one called Meta Tags that opens in the sidebar. It might be the easiest one to use, but there are plenty of other more general seo extensions that offer the ability to show meta tags.
There's not much to using it. After you install the extension you'll find it listed under the Tools menu. The info opens in the sidebar and displays the meta tags for the page and some other information.
It's not hard, but if you wanted to look through a lot of pages it's easier to have something in the sidebar that updates for you. Nothing to click.
If you're only looking at a page or two then right clicking is fine, but if you're looking at a lot the extension in the sidebar will likely save you some time.

The tool looks nice... I'll try it out... thanks...
