We all know, the quality links are helpfull to rank.
But it's hard to get quality links, especially the same topic sites.
Can you give some advise?

Now many people just want to link the high PR sites or the same pr sites.
And the same topic site is hate you.

Forget PR, Forget "relevant", "same theme" etc

Yes, do heed what chrishirst says -- you know, you could put "page rank" in the search on this site and find a HEAP of information as to why you needn't worry about this so much. I see this question SO often -- actually, Adam deserves and "Ask Adam" section -- he does quite a job answer page rank inquiries!

this is the problem with linking to other related quality sites you want to have a link to. even if you have good content which is very useful, still, they are looking at your PR. Obviously, if you have low PR, you are ignored.

This is true of only a small subset of the linking population. Many, many people will link to you and not even know/care what PR is.

Just because it's the sole purpose of the tvaddicts, dvdavenue, tv/dvd whatever crowd to look ar the pointless green pixels on the toolbar doesn't mean every one should do.

Instead of creating the endless splogs and begging backlinks GET A CLUE about REAL SEO. It gets quite boring "hearing" you all bleat on about PR and backlinks.

Let the PR lemmings run over all the cliffs they want!

You forgot "focus on on-the-page optimization", Hirst. That's a key generic component of any DVD Addicts argument.

Seriously, quality links come from people you don't even have to ask. They come from people who couldn't care less about the little green bar because they know it's useless. They come from people who link to useful content. And they often come from unexpected sources.

In other words, if you want 'em, earn 'em. Oh...and listen to Jeni.

I didn't ask for any of those.

Yes buy links or build viral content, contextual linking is always great for ranking purposes and relevancy.

Link buying for PR is not at all advisable.
