I am running a website for about 2 years now. But i just started learning SEO for the past 7 months. I did a lot of research and found out SEO success depends on how trustworthy your website is compared to other websites. Of course your website has to be optimized onsite but anyone can do that because you can be copied but who ranks higher is the difference.
So I started working:
Bookmarking Websites
Submitting Articles
Being constructive in forums
Being constructive on blogs
Making Friends online and working together
Learned how to best optimize my website and tried to see what works the best.
My success I have landed #1 on google for keywords that recieve over 100,000 searches a month.
With this done means I know what I am doing and can do it for any keyword if I do my strategy.
I wish I started when I was 17 with SEO because I got sucked into different various get rich schemes. But working things out at age 23 I have learned a lot and planning on killing the competition.
