Hiya,

Ok...I noticed to day that I got a search hit from google using the keyword fast eddies ( a local popular bar & grill ) It was on my site when google searched my engine but has since been removed. Now for the question after finding this out. My question is should I create a page for nothing but local places in my area and St.louis in order to generate some more hits from people searching for local attractions ? If so...can I just create a hyper link on my main page that maybe just sayslocal links will this be enough to generate hits from search engines. Will the search engine include these pages ?

Thanks

Jeff

Yeah

Do you get trafficology? They talked about that exact thing this issue [outbound links]

Basically you have a page with 'local' links, and then telll how great a site is.

For example ... slashdot.org

I will have a link to the main page stating its for up the minut tech news and geek stuff. Then I might have a link to the apache section saying all the current going on with Apache. And then a link to their comments engine ... saying find out what other people think.

So now I have three links to slashdot and some good keywrods in. Submit the page to google, and if anyone searches for slashdot.org, it should show up somewhere there

Yes, Alton it does work.

And I also get the trafficology newsletter. It's really great.

I also get the Super Trafficology one. Do you get that also AhmedF? If not PM me...
