If you post a lot on a certian forum, just slap a link in your sig (images help too) and people will click on it. It's worked for me.

Seems like every forum is different, or maybe it's just me. How do I get the url in my signature to be active, hot, click-n-go, you get my meaning?

Thanks.

Dave

Normally you just type in http://whatever.com but maybe the other admins disabled links to be used in your signature.

Maybe if you try this: [ URL=http://whatever.com]Text Here[ /URL]. Just an idea...

BTW, there are no spaces between the [ and the URL] parts.

Ok, this is basically for my benefit. I'm trying to post a url here: http://www.inatureshealing.com

If you see all the junk, then that didn't work the way I tried it. Oh, it worked on it's own. I typed the url and the program added the [ url ] [ /url ]. Interesting.

Thanks for the help. Now to tackle the signature!

Dave

Thats all well and good ja5es, but I spend a lot of time at Stardard Internet Forums, where they have disabled the signatures. Not that I mind (keeps download times respectable and eliminates spamming)... besides, I'm so well known over there that most of them already know what site I own and don't have to be constantly reminded. If they want to visit the site they can just click the "www" button at the bottom of each of my posts. So its also worth adding your link in the profile too!

Actually, you can get all the info about using vbb code by clicking on the link just to the left side of the editing page when you try to post a reply.

this the link by the way:
