Guys.
I know you are all going to jump on this one I want a list of web sites, from this community, to be posted right here on this thread and outline their URL, ad rates, specs and traffic levels. I will be interested in starting a web hosting campaign for my web hosting company; Hostingplex.com.
We have a budget of $10,000 a month for this, this doesn't mean jack the prices up, because we are still going to be advertising in our local newspapers, magazines, etc, etc.
Please let me know!

That's a heck of a budget for advertising in one month!
You can always buy a text link sponsorship for 1 month in our hosting forum (only $15 a month limited time).
Or buy top banner advertising here at $2.50 CPM
We get over 100,000 impressions a month. However if you bought 100,000 impressions, it would last a really long time since we would rotate it with other banners....

Road_Runner, I take Alexa rankings with a pinch of salt... in my experience they tend to favor sites that serve Webmasters because it only seems to be the webmasters that refer to it!

to have a hosting company with no customers and an advertising budget of $10,000 per month is unheard of.
if you have $10,000 per month to advertise with, you already have a highly sucessful company with alot of customers and alot of links to you, thus you don't need to advertise with people in this forum, you can head straight for the "huge boys."
for this reason i would challenge hostingplex to give me stats to show me he is sucessful and where his budget comes from. i'm afraid i have to say it sounds like a scam. you probably won't get paid by him. he should have a great ranking on yahoo and msn if he has this much money to pay, as he could have sponsored high-traffic keywords for much less than $10,000 and this would have brought him huge amounts of traffic.
so...i believe its a scam, and not to be trusted

Okay,
Enough is enough. This is getting way out of hand. First off. Road_Runner contact me: kpatel@cashcommunity.com to settle this $500 that we owe you. Also, my name is Kaumil, not Kamil.
What Lil_red remembers is from 2 years ago, a dream that I had, to own a BMW. I do not have a BMW. If Lil_Red was such a big webmaster, she would know that "age" has nothing to do with anything. Take a look at WorldCom and Enron, why they are older than 30. I am NOT 16 years old anymore... I started out back then, and even then I did not "scam" any webmasters that were legitimate. We paid and we paid on time. We had a fresh wave of scammers try to rip us off, at the time our fraud check wasn't so great, and we had assistance with Findwhat.com to track people down. We still do use them to track people down and we work very closely with Findwhat.com.
Some of those sites that you listed don't even belong to me, and one of them is a multi-million dollar company. Proof? http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=XTC.TO&d=t The parent company of Castool.com. Popuprev.com we do not own, Lookthru.com we do not own. I personally owned FreewareWorld.com and BlazeHits.com. Which has no relevance to any of this.
Rankings on Alexa.. Now... If you noticed, we only registered the domain Hostingplex.com this year, we have done no marketing what so ever on the Internet for this web site. We plan to, but all of a sudden, former geekvillage members are trying to screw our plans to do good business. We targeted our clients from our home town, Toronto. We have many real estate clients + small businesses of all sorts. We have been running this web hosting company, on a very small scale until we decided we should go bigger, here we are. I do not have to show or prove my self to anyone just because they are "curious" to know if i'm lying or not.
All the other complainers that say they never got payment? Then say, we cut you off because we made the money and got paid? Wrong. We don't get paid for any traffic that we filter or block. We go into detail with our partners and I assure you, your account was looked at in detail before it was booted off our network. We have a member still, trying to do $20,000 in scam dollars on our network. Having the same name to 30 different addresses in the Vancouver area.
Another thing you may be asking? Why have you been hiding from GeekVillage for then? Well, go ask Steve. There was a problem with one affiliate, I replied in a proper manner, I was new to this, and didn't know the proper procedure to post a reply to a "complaint". I didn't flame, nor accuse anyone. I got banned. I did what was required to gain access back, never heard from Steve (the owner of GeekVillage). I e-mail him a couple of days ago, telling him to "moderate" and "close" threads about people slandering me on his board. What does he do? Ban me from viewing geekvillage boards, and bans all incoming mail from any of my servers. Now tell me... who's trying to be the better person.
When webmasters of this forum are paid, including the "Cheif" which has a good eye for me ever since I joined, I hope it "lightens" the issue that I do pay, and I am honest.
We work with Findwhat.com, Revquest.com. You can contact them and ask them about our relationship with them. We work with some of the biggest porn sites on the internet, some that receive over 500,000 unique visitors daily. All being paid. It seems the Non-adult side of things is more corrupt than the Adult side.
I am not going to post the URL's of the sites, because minor's may be surfing the pages.
I thank you for listening to this long thread, "Road Runner" e-mail me so we can discuss your payment. We probably still have on record every detail of all your searches, clicks, pages, etc.

Who's the joke on now? Go check your PM. You and Lil_Red are both very smart individuals. Two years ago I was 16, i'm still 16? Nice math skills.
Advertising on webmaster-talk.com? Ask cheif if I am really interested in advertising on here. There really isn't anything amusing about this.

ok you might now be 18 with the 'decked out bimmer' but of you are making the money you say you are then I think it is smart to advertise here.
The amusing thing about this is that its growing daily. Just check out how many members have joined. It is a good deal to advertise here, i dont do it because simply the fact that i dont have money but if i did have money, i would.
There is something amusing by this, its just too bad you dont see it that way.

Kaumil is right; this thread is getting totally out of hand. I don't understand why some of you continue to make detrimental, irrelevant comments after he has explained what happened. I don't find this thread amusing either. Please stop flaming hostingplex, or I will have lock this thread. You are welcome to post your comments about his business practices, but please at least base your claim on more solid evidence with an explanation. Thank you for your cooperation.
As for age, I agree with Kaumil that it is totally irrelevant to whether you can be a good webmaster or not. I know someone who runs a host, and he's only 18 as well, yet he knows more about the in's and out's of server management better than most who are twice as old as he is.

Thank you. I also do not run this business alone. I have financial back up from the Multi-million dollar company, two partners which are 22 and 23. We are legally corporated, this isn't a business to sham you. Let's be certain about this.
Again, you'll see once "hostingplex" is all over the Internet, and yes, including webmaster-talk.com.
Thank you for the support conkermaniac,
