I'm currently 17 years old and I own the following websites: virtual pet list - myspace generators - virtual pets blog.
I've been a webmaster for about 3 years now but it was up until last year that I started to monetize all my websites. My main site receives 1,000 daily unique visitors and makes $5/day while my second site myspacehun generates over $40/day from its great ad-placement. I've worked many hours to monetize, generate, and make more money from Adsense. I'm only using adsense because I don't want to apply for the other major advertising companies until all my sites are "up-there" in traffic so-to-say.
I was making over $2,000/month last year when myspace was booming and they allowed spammers, however; I'm still averaging $1,000 - $1,5000/month now from doing SEO for other webmasters to adsense. I'm working my butt off all the time to learn more ways to make money from the internet.
I have a baby on the way (fiance is 4 months) and so I'm trying to rack up all the money I can, and so; I can re-invest and continue my online business.
I may not be as successful as the other big-earners out there, but hopefully I will be.
I'd like to tell everyone who wants to get into the webmaster-game to research, write quality content and never give up. If someone tells you that you can't make it, then don't let them get you down continue to work, work, work and hopefully one day you can go from $1/day to over $100/day. |
