Honestly, I'm considering him like any other president. A person that tries (in theory) to do his best regarding the largest numbers in his country.

I was not thrilled by his election, I did not listened to his speech, and I don't care much than that.
But given what I could read, hear and view, I think it was the candidate the closer to my views.
Even if he is far from them.

I've heard the same thing about the Bush family...

Stop complaining, and start acting.
Enter in the political process, be an investigation journalist / blogger.

But more important, stop that "complot theory" shouting, and try not to get so worked up jsut because you don't trust what you see in the news.
There are still a few objective journalism sources, but it actually require you to know what they talk about to understand the issues.

Obama has to approve reports before they are printed and so nothing will ever be said of him that is not 100% to his liking.

Did you expect change that soon? Obama got in in the middle of one of the worst crisises (... no clue how to spell that) the USA has seen. It'll take years to clean up that mess

Before, during, and after this crisis, there will be debate as to what the government could have done/should be doing to make things better and what, if any, effect those actions would have. It will be mired down by B.S. and spin the entire way.

That said, results are, and will be, the only true and valid measure that people can use to decide how his policies are working. His short term "results" are horrible. We will all have to wait for the long term results to weigh in, but it isn't looking good. Its funny to watch him still, TODAY, try and put this all on the previous administration. He's got a buy for another few months, but that story is going to get real old, real fast.

It also seems he hasn't yet figured out that the market hangs on his words and policies. Greenspan knew it. Bernanke knows it. Talk down the economy and the market dives. Talk up the economy and the market lifts. In either event, the bright side is we no longer have to guess how Obama is going to govern. As much as it pains me, I have to give Learning Newbie props for calling it correctly. One step left of Comrade Lenin.

In other news, interesting to watch Venezuelan Pres. Chavez and US Pres. Obama take on disenting voices in the media. Why cant everybody just get on board and enjoy the ride?

Besides if you are "so smart" then you should understand that your mind is gifted in a way that will and should be used to better the community. Its the "smart" people who think that they are better when they are really worse then the average person.
