That is also funny, because it presupposes the idea that the "News" portion of what Fox does has any bias whatsoever. You should go out and read a book by Bernie Goldberg, former right hand man to Dan "The Dan" Rather. It's educational on where bias in the media came from.
Fox has been ordained a "Right-wing" media outlet mostly because it refuses to follow the left-wing bias of traditional broadcast media. It rightly deserves the title due to its heavily right-wing weighting in it's prime time and evening commentary segments. I'll give you that MSNBC made changes in its format to counteract the existence of Fox, but that change is better described as the extreme left shirking its guise as unbiased news to openly oppose the only news outlet reporting center-right.
@Wayfarer: You could be right. Going to a pure conservative format assures them an audience for which there in absolutely no competition in the mainstream media. I personally disagree. Ever since they gave Huckabee his own show, and booted Colmes off of Hannity and Colmes, I feel like I'm going to church when I turn on nighttime Fox(outside of the Red-Eye), so I'd just rather leave it off. Until recently, their audience was pretty much 33-33-33 Conservative-Moderate-Liberal. Thats why they had big viewership number. Hell, they have/had Bob Bechel and Dennis Kucinich as contributers, both of which are card carrying, dyed in the wool, pinko commie, koolaide drinking, left wing lunatic nut jobs. This as a contrast to these "Wanna-Be" conservative muppets CNN puts on (MSNBC wont even go there), next to their extreme left wing "News-Anchor" Crew including Jeffry Toobin, Anderson "The token gay guy" Cooper(Probably the most conservative of them), and Wolf Blitzer. John King may be CNN's only guy who tries to stay middle of the road. If Fox continues down this path, their primetime audience will come out 70-20-10(something like MSBC, but opposite) not because they gained conservative viewership, but because they lost the middle and left.
