I just saw The Dark Knight with my wife. Both of us were shocked at the similarities between the current president, and the Batman movie.

1. Both live in a fantasy world that's only loosely coupled with reality.
2. Torture is a valuable tactic to extract information from "evil doers".
3. Both are obsessed with terrorists - although Batman actually captures The Joker, while Bush continues to fail to capture Osama bin Laden.
4. Wire tapping all citizens to blindly hunt for terrorists is a much used tactic in Gotham City and in Bush's USA. In both cases, the programs are called out as unethical, and the warning is promptly ignored.
5. Like Batman, George W Bush loves dressing up in pseudo military outfits.
6. Both suffer very low approval ratings.
7. Both George W Bush and Batman violate laws at their convenience.
8. Both offer all means of help (including fund raiser events) for criminals. Batman, however, only helped Harvey Dent before he turned over to the dark side.
9. Neither one believes the public has a right to information. Both see a knowledgeable public basing decisions on what really happened as a threat.

But, there's one key difference. Unlike George W Bush, Batman actually manages to accomplish something positive.

So there you have it. The new Batman movie is what GWB fancies himself as, if only he weren't a strange version of King Midas, turning everything he touches into failure.

I got EXACTLY the same impression when I saw the Jesus of Nazareth mini-series with Earnest Borgnine, and Anne Bancroft! Like Jesus, Dubya was a big believer in the holy father.
Both were natural born leaders of men
Both were men of faith
Both believed strongly in helping the poor
Both helped to heal the sick(Bush and the AIDS epidemic in Africa)
Both were visionaries whose beliefs and teachings would be practiced for generations to come.
Both shook up the establishment and were hated for it by those whose power was threatened(The pharasies and Nancy Pelosi)
Both were crucified (Bush by the great Left Wing conspiracy theorists) only to rise to power again (2004 was a great year)
Both were able to make something from nothing(Fish and loaves, Money for Iraq and Afghanistan when we had none to spend)
Both could walk on water (Bush getting legislation pushed through as a lame duck with a Democrat ruled congress)

All told, the similarities are uncanny.
