Hi,

My company is most of the way through v.3 of our WIRES Content Management System, and after taking feedback from all our clients as to what a CMS system should really have, I have decided to throw the question open to the general public.
What do the users of this forum believe are the key features of any bespoke CMS system.

Any feedback is appreciated

Cheers!

to be adaptive .... so it can be used in numerous situations
to be modular .... so any page can be arranged to the webmasters will
eg : menu on the left ... a module at the top ( news ) a module at the middle ( new forum messages ) a module at the bottom ( new products )

PS: i don't think that the link to you're page was necesary if the topic is not about it .... it is almost SPAM

solomongaby, thanks for your reply - very useful feedback. I don't think my links in there are Spam, as they link to the relevant area on my website describing the product, and the link to my homepage allows people to see what the rest of the related products are all about. I'm happy to change the links if everybody believes me to be spamming..

Thanks again for the feedback

A bespoke Content Management System should have "exactly" those features that the client requires.
No ?

Zitku, Yes - I take your point, but the idea is that we develop a base set of features that can be added to depending on the client requirements. So it's the base set of features we are trying to determine.
